Customer Support Engineer

CoolCare

In the role of software support engineer, you will be responsible for supporting customers to a high standard for both technical and non-technical system issues and queries.

Ensuring that you understand the customer’s needs, you will provide solutions, advice and recommendations for any questions, issues or concerns raised by our customers in order for them to effectively use the system.

You will work closely with all departments in CoolCare, with your expert product knowledge you will advise and train internal team members on the system. You will be responsible for gathering requirements from customers and investigating bugs in order to provide vital information to our development team.

We are looking for a candidate with experience of working with customers and CRM / ITSM systems along with proven ability of supporting software and other technical systems.

The main responsibilities of your role will require you to:

Ensure the customer support line is manned during open hours.
Troubleshoot, identify and resolve CoolCare issues.
Troubleshoot, identify and resolve hardware issues.
Assist customers in ascertaining data and information otherwise inaccessible to them.
Create SQL reports for CoolCare3 report generator.
Assist customers in maintaining data in their databases via deletion and updates of data.
Assist customers with product guidance, basic training and product tips.
Proactively advise customers to aid in correct database management.
Configure, dispatch and assist with the installation of hardware.
Create and maintain CoolCare user guides.
Proactively monitor servers/systems and report issues to appropriate teams.
Install and configure new customer databases and homes.
Advise, manage and conduct CoolCare3 to CoolCare4 migrations.
Delete and maintain accurate CoolCare databases.
Accurately maintain the CRM database.
Audit users and maintain security of CoolCare’s internal databases.
Ensure customers are informed of system downtime in appropriate timeframe.
Create process documents and guides in line with company policy.
Assist the wider team with troubleshooting and customer queries.
Gather business requirements, and provide guidance to the development team for CoolCare
suggestions.
Investigate bugs, ascertain required details for them and provide relevant guidance to the
development team.
Keep customers updated on development progress and latest updates.
Produce accurate and timely KPI’s and reports for ticket handling.

We are now seeking a two new Site Managers with great team working skills to join the family.

Your responsibilities will include;

• liaising with all levels of staff within the company, subcontractors and consultants, to ensure the finished product is in accordance with all specifications, to the highest standards of workmanship and within budget.

• Being responsible for overseeing the effective and efficient running of the programme as a whole and to comply with the HSE, company Health & Safety policy and all other Health and Safety legislation during the works.

You will be required to work away during the site build, have your own transport, have a FULL CLEAN driving license, and be great with clients/sub contractors.

You MUST HAVE the following;

• Relevant Management CSCS Card
• SMSTS Current Certificate
• First Aid at work Current Certificate

Tradition Build Knowledge and Experience required.

Sites are Nationwide and you will be required to work away.

We are currently looking for experienced Fire Protection Operatives to join our newly formed PFP division. This is a great opportunity for the right individuals to form part of our team, carrying out high quality works while developing both existing and new skills within the role.

Fire Protection Operatives must be experienced in all aspects of fire stopping including: -

  • Batt and Mastic
  • Fire Curtains
  • Fire Boarding

All applicants MUST have: -

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
  • Blue CSCS card / NVQ in Passive Fire Protection.
  • FIRAS (Preferred)
  • IPAF / PASMA is also an advantage
  • Experience of working with and installing Rockwool/Hilti products
  • Knowledge of Boris app system (Desirable)
  • Own Transport/Tools essential

About the Candidate:

  • Demonstrate a hardworking and collaborative, positive attitude.
  • Have good communication skills and be able to work both independently and part of a team.
  • Willing to learn new skills and processes within the PFP division, implementing such to improve overall standards and quality of work.

Main tasks:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent parts sales service and aftercare.
  • Proactively encourage additional sales to race car customers.
  • Process day to day sales enquiries received by phone, e-mail & website.
  • Assess customers’ needs and provide assistance during the parts ordering process 
  • Attend Motorsport events in the UK and potentially overseas, including race weekends.
  • Manage the parts dispatch team.
  • Proactively lead achievement of the department’s parts sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning sales activities, changing department’s processes). 
  • Provide an accurate forecast for parts and rebuild sales on a monthly basis, write and issue reports.
  • “Go the extra mile” to drive sales.
     

Qualifications/Key Attributes:

  • Proven work experience in a sales role or order processing role.  
  • Motorsport industry experience is beneficial 
  • Excellent English communication skills 
  • Ability to manage a team 
  • A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus 
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) 
  • Sage Line 200 experience beneficial but can be trained.
  • In possession of a valid driving license
