Night CNC Setter/Operator (Axis 4&5)

Ginetta has been building British road and race cars since 1958 - but since its purchase by LNT Group in 2005, the company has grown to become one of the most significant players on the global motorsport scene. With racing pedigree throughout the business; Lawrence/Team LNT and Ginetta have raced at Le Mans with Lawrence himself winning the GT2 class at Le Mans 2006 in a Panoz Esperante.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced CNC setter operator to join our growing team in Garforth. The successful applicant will be responsible for the running of both our Haas CNC Machining Centres (4 - axis and 5 - axis) on a night shift.

The working hours would initially be between the hours of 9am until 5pm Mon-Fri during the probationary period and then Mon to Thurs between 8pm to 6am. Includes a competitive salary package.

We are looking for someone with experience of machining intricate components with a keen eye for detail.

Previous experience using Haas machines would be advantageous but not essential

Further training to become a full skilled programmer using Hypermill may be available to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

•To set and operate the CNC machines and manufacture automotive including motorsport components

•Ability to read and understand engineering drawings including tolerancing of features.

•Use a range of manual measuring equipment in order to quality check parts produced

•Use our CNC CMM to in order to quality check parts produced.

An interest in motorsport would be an advantage however not essential

CAD Technician

LNT Construction

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who will work with Site Managers and the commercial team to optimise our construction process. LNT Construction have consistently delivered 600 beds to the market each year for the past 10 years and we are looking to grow significantly in the coming years. Applicants will be expected to attend site meetings from time to time with sites situated nationwide

Key Responsibilities:
• To assist in the design and development of all projects and specifically to produce Computer Aided Design work as required.
• To work closely with and under the guidance of the Head of Design in producing plans, construction detailing, planning submission drawings and building regulation submission details.
• To prepare plans and details for Local Authority and clients together with administrative duties
• Ability to take projects from conception to completion.

Key Attributes:
• Knowledge of producing working technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of structural and civil engineering solutions
• Hardworking with an eye for detail
• Knowledge of technical legislation including current Building Regulations
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit would be useful but not essential)
• Varied Project experience (care home sector projects would be an advantage)
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Proficient in writing tests at various levels e.g. unit, integration, functional.
  • Advocate of SOLID principles

Desirable:

  • Experience with Java programming language and Spring framework
  • Practices TDD / BDD
