This role is ideally suited to an individual with a key eye for detail and emphasis on delivering an efficient service within the Stores environment, with a strong focus on both pick/pack accuracy and stock integrity. Warehouse experience essential as is knowledge of a retail environment. Experience with car parts is an advantage but not essential

GRP Laminator

We are looking to recruit GRP laminators (experienced & non-experienced) to join our growing composites team. Although predominantly team based, you must also have the ability to work on your own with the flexibility to meet deadlines.

Although a good GRP background is preferred it is not essential, provided candidates have a good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

As a Ginetta GRP laminator, you will be producing the bodywork for a large number of production road and race cars, supporting the manufacturing plant.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning/waxing/prepping moulds for lay-up
• Application of various release agents/material identification
• Gel coat application/laminating skills/hand tool dexterity
• Trimming/sanding & polishing of parts after release
• General housekeeping duties- changing barrels/filling recycling bins/unpacking goods-in deliveries
• Wrapping/protecting out bound deliveries
• Excellent team spirit and work ethic
• Willingness to develop and learn
• Engineering understanding

Salary will be dependent upon pervious laminating experience & offer career progression opportunities in both the GRP and Carbon Fibre Team.

DESCRIPTION
An experienced Town Planner is required to join a reputable and thriving care home developer. It’s a great opportunity to join this close-knit and well-respected planning team.

Based in Garforth, Leeds, you will already be an experienced Town Planner with a background in either a private or public sector setting, working for a consultancy, local authority, developer or land promoter.

About the role:

The position will involve managing planning project work in-house, as part of the team. This will involve initial site appraisals and evaluation; preparation of written reports and statements and submission of all planning application documentation. It will also involve meeting and negotiating with Planning Officer’s and any/all parties involved in the application processes and being involved in Planning Committee and Appeal situations, as required.

As a result, you will need to be at a stage in your career where you are ready to take ownership of projects – 18 months professional planning experience is therefore the minimum, and ideally you will have more. Whatever your current skill set, you will be offered comprehensive training and support to develop skills and experience in areas where you have not yet had much exposure.

About you:
• Upwards of 18 months experience in a town planning role;
• High standards of written and verbal communication;
• Ambitious, self-motivated but also a genuine team player;
• A keen interest in the full land and planning process
• Full UK driving licence.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced CNC setter operator to join our growing team in Garforth. The successful applicant will be responsible for the running of both our Haas CNC Machining Centres (4 - axis and 5 - axis) on a night shift.

The working hours would initially be between the hours of 9am until 5pm Mon-Fri during the probationary period and then Mon to Thurs between 8pm to 6am. Includes a competitive salary package.

We are looking for someone with experience of machining intricate components with a keen eye for detail.

Previous experience using Haas machines would be advantageous but not essential

Further training to become a full skilled programmer using Hypermill may be available to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

•To set and operate the CNC machines and manufacture automotive including motorsport components

•Ability to read and understand engineering drawings including tolerancing of features.

•Use a range of manual measuring equipment in order to quality check parts produced

•Use our CNC CMM to in order to quality check parts produced.

We are looking to recruit a Labourer to join our team on initially a 9month temporary basis with a possibility to extend.

Within the role of labourer you will be completing work involving the removal and replacement of fiberglass/rockwool in roof spaces alongside some other provisional enabling/fire stopping works.

The successful applicant will be hard working, reliable and punctual with good clear communication skills and be able to work alone on your own initiative or as part of a team.

The working week will be 40 hours Mon-Fri between the hours of 8am and 4pm, but a level of flexibility is required and these are subject to change without notice. 

The role requires the applicant to work across various locations as we are current across 27 sites mostly in the midlands but some as far North as Newcastle and as far south as Cambridge. Therefore, extensive travel will be required including some overnight stays.
