As the business continues to grow, we’re looking for a Championship Coordinator to help make sure our next 60 years are just as successful.

Ginetta reaches the big six-zero in 2018 and what a reputation we have built. Under the direction of Lawrence Tomlinson (a previous Le Mans winner no less), the Ginetta family has well and truly made its mark on the international racing scene. With five in-house racing championships, one of the most decorated GT4 cars on the market and a forthcoming LMP1 project, the future is looking bright.

Working as part of a close-knit team under the direction of the Motorsports Manager, the newest recruit to #TeamOrange will support the running of a variety of events, with a particular focus on our customer track days and our five in-house championships which support the BTCC and British GT.

As an integral part of the Commercial Team, your main role will also see you coordinate several elements of our successful championships. You will help to shape our sporting regulations and the event format of future seasons, so we’re looking for someone with plenty of ideas, and a passion for thinking ’outside the box’.

Once you’re part of the team, you will work closely with our existing sales team. You’ll be given the freedom to unleash your sales and marketing prowess as we are looking for someone who is confident in being able to generate sales at any number of events (including track days, exhibitions and around the paddock) whilst being able to promote the Ginetta brand at all times.

Our customers are our priority, so you will oversee event hospitality and all customer-facing elements of our race weekends, ensuring our valued customers receive excellent customer service throughout the event. We’re proud of our ‘Ginetta Family’ so we’re looking for someone who can maintain a close relationship with our competitors and championship stakeholders (including the MSA, event promoters and circuit management) to ensure our championship packages remain attractive and relevant in a competitive motorsport market.

Due to the nature of the role you will be required to work weekends, out-of-hours and undertake extensive travel supporting these events.

We are looking for ... a Project Manager/ Client Manager to join our team.

With an entrepreneurial approach the success of this privately owned business has enable continued growth year on year with a projected turnover of a £100M+ in the next financial year.

All projects are accommodation based schemes ranging in value between £4M-£5M.

The role:

This opportunity is for a Project Manager / Client Manager. You will work very closely with clients and stakeholders on our sites across the UK to ensure that they are engaged in the build process of schemes at all stages from design to completion ensuring an enjoyable and positive client experience.

Requirements to be considered for this role:

  • Proven Project Management experience within construction is essential, ideally you will be a client side Project Manager
  • Sound knowledge of the construction industry to enable effective communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the duration of projects.
  • Planning and ensuring all parts of project have clear and well communicated timescales including setting timescales and monitoring project plans and reporting against programme.
  • Previous costing, estimating, budget control experience.
  • Point of contact with client for internal design alterations and product identity.
  • Agree intervals (& chair)  regular review meetings with clients and stakeholders throughout the duration of the project.
  • Develop client review forms to measure effectiveness of client satisfaction though project stages.
  • Maximise PR opportunities for each project.
  • Highly literate - able to communicate both verbally and written at a very high standard.
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills; able to manage numerous clients simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality.
  • Educated to degree level and preferably MRICS or MAPM qualified.

This is a permanent role with a salary to £50,000pa + car allowance + benefits plus free onsite parking and the opportunity to work for one of Yorkshire leading entrepreneurial businesses.

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD user who has sound building regulations knowledge.

Our technicians have full autonomy over their own projects. Working with the support of their Line Manager and wider team.

The ideal candidate will have the skill to take responsibility of the design element of the construction stage of the project and drive this through to completion.

You will have extensive technical detailing experience and have excellent attention to detail.

It is essential that you are a self motivated and driven character, able to work in a fast paced environment.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Composite Fitter to join our team based in Garforth

Salary: £25,000

Ginetta has been building British road and race cars since 1958 - but since its purchase by LNT Group in 2005, the company has grown to become one of the most significant players on the global motorsport scene. With racing pedigree throughout the business; Lawrence/Team LNT and Ginetta have raced at Le Mans with Lawrence himself winning the GT2 class at Le Mans 2006 in a Panoz Esperante.

We are currently looking to recruit a Composite Fitter to join our growing team in Garforth. The successful applicant will be responsible for trimming, fitting and assembling component parts to built assemblies.

We are looking for experience working with Carbon Fibre and other Composite Materials with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reading engineering drawings, assembly and fitting to high standards and fine detail finish
  • Trimming, fitting and assembling composite component parts in to built assemblies
  • Trimming composite and ancillary materials to close tolerances

Quantity Surveyor (QS)

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team. This role is ideally suited to an energetic, dynamic and ambitious individual with approximately 5 years’ experience in quantity surveying. The role will include some of the following duties;

Duties

  • Cost planning advice in pre-contract, working with site finders
  • Sub-Contract procurement and negotiation
  • Preparing BOQ and Tender Document
  • Monitoring Budget against actual cost
  • Cost forecasting, producing multiple outcomes
  • Preparation of Payment Application, certification and valuation of sub-contractors work
  • Assessment of variations
  • Dispute resolution
  • Cost advice on client variations
  • Whole life cycle costing
  • Preparation of final account
  • Identify risks and report possible outcomes
  • Develop sub-contractor scope of works with site team
  • Production of monthly CVR
  • Production of and updating of cash and cost flow

Desirable skills

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or construction related subject

Prepare components for oven and autoclave processing utilising vacuum bagging practices.

Consult and resolve quality issues as they arise, in consultation with project engineers.

Basic requirement’s

Laminating experience preferably in pre-preg but not essential.

Ideally motorsport background but other sectors considered.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawin
