We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team. This role is ideally suited to an energetic, dynamic and ambitious individual with approximately 5 years’ experience in quantity surveying. The role will include some of the following duties;

Duties

  • Cost planning advice in pre-contract, working with site finders
  • Sub-Contract procurement and negotiation
  • Preparing BOQ and Tender Document
  • Monitoring Budget against actual cost
  • Cost forecasting, producing multiple outcomes
  • Preparation of Payment Application, certification and valuation of sub-contractors work
  • Assessment of variations
  • Dispute resolution
  • Cost advice on client variations
  • Whole life cycle costing
  • Preparation of final account
  • Identify risks and report possible outcomes
  • Develop sub-contractor scope of works with site team
  • Production of monthly CVR
  • Production of and updating of cash and cost flow
  • Ability to work on 3 projects at once

Desirable skills

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or construction related subject
  • Post qualification construction experience 
  • Strong track record on commercial build projects
  • Experience of package negotiation
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and logical skills
  • Able to work accurately with figures
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willing to travel, with the possibility of working away for a couple of days a month

An integral role to the business, the Assistant Buyer will be required to assist in the procurement of plant, mechanical/electrical & construction materials for our construction sites.

The successful applicant would be required to build an excellent working relationship with our suppliers to assist in negotiations for the best quality products. You would be required to place and progress orders to tight deadlines to ensure that purchases are ordered and delivered on time.

The Group Buyer is an active member of the LNT team, for the provision of quality goods, services and materials to enable the business to operate smoothly

In the role of Group Buyer it is your responsibility to co-ordinate the procurement operations across the LNT Group, providing accurate estimates for materials, supplies and services so that the company is able to meet the demands of the business needs on time and within budget.

In this role you will ensure that all drawings have been thoroughly interpreted so that detailed pricing information can be established from Group Procurement where necessary along with the pricing of all non-Group materials and subcontracting, providing a full and detailed report.

You will strategically drive and lead procurement throughout the LNT Groups.

As Group Buyer you will actively work with suppliers through the procurement life cycle to ensure value and improvement. You will take a strong leadership role in relation to supplier negotiations and ongoing management of suppliers building strong relationships with clients.

You will liaise with all departmental heads in order to secure appropriate materials in a timely manner including, but not limited to, construction materials, food and beverage, accommodation, medical and cleaning supplies. 

You will already possess the following skills;

Development Team Technician

We are currently looking to recruit a Development Team Technician to assist with the upkeep and maintenance of factory fleet vehicles and preparations for test and demonstration events.

 

As an important key member of the Test and Development team, you will be responsible for the preparation and upkeep of factory fleet cars, along with servicing and rebuilds of customer vehicles in the workshop and attendance of customer tests and Ginetta events.

Key Responsibilities

·Cleaning and checking of road and race vehicles

·Servicing of factory fleet and customer vehicles

·Building up of sub-assemblies

·Loading and checking of equipment for race/test events

·Maintain stock levels of consumables for test development team

·Maintain a tidy and safe working environment

·Assisting customers at test and race events

·Maintaining professional and smart appearance of all fleet vehicles

·Completing and maintaining vehicle paperwork records

Experience in the automotive sector would be advantageous and motorsport experience preferred.

This position would suit a capable Motorsport or Engineering graduate who is dynamic and practically minded. You will be used to mechanical systems and being hands on.

We are currently looking to recruit a Production Stores Manager to lead a busy manufacturing stores facility, ensuring accurate availability at all times of components required to fulfill the production schedule of both complete vehicles and Sub Assembly Works Orders.

An integral role to the success and efficiency of the business you will be responsible for the stock process from goods In to consumption of finished goods, controlling the flow of parts throughout the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Process driven system
  • Working with the production and supply chain teams to maintain robust stock control systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Monitor and plan ahead for production schedules
  • Ensure stock is correctly logged throughout the system
  • Maintain adequate and accurate stock levels at all times
  • Managing and monitoring sales order systems and process
  • Focus on preventing discrepancies, and undertake investigations as necessary.
  • Liaising with the departmental heads
  • Working with the Production Director, ensuring the stores area is organised, tidy, safe and secure
  • Monitoring stock levels to achieve 95%+ stock accuracy levels using Sage 200
  • Taking part in perpetual inventory counts, highlighting preventative actions for any discrepancies identified.
  • Managing a small team and supervising their  daily activities

Knowledge of inventory in a busy production environment is essential. Experience in the automotive sector would be preferred but not essential.
